Handrail for the Basement and 4th floor
GENERAL:
Request Handrail and Wall guard for the Roudebush VA Medical Center, located at 1481 W 10th Street Indianapolis, IN 46202.
The Engineering Staff will do the install of all materials.
CONFORMANCE STANDARDS:
All services provided under this contract must be performed in conformance with the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and Original Equipment Manufacturer standards and specifications.
Delivery Requirements:
Deliver to 1481 W 10th Street Indianapolis, IN 46202
Hours 8:00 am 4:00 pm Monday through Friday except on Federal Holidays
SERVICES REQUIRED:
Contractor shall Provide and deliver Handrails and wall guards for the Basement and 4th floors.
CONTRACTOR REQUIREMENTS:
Contractor shall deliver materials in a professional manner and to the highest standards.
Contractor shall check and verify that all the materials are delivered.
Contractor to schedule materials delivery during Warehouse operating hours. NOTE: The VA Engineering staff will do the installation of the Handrail and the wall guard.
Items description: All items are requested in 304 Stainless steel with #4 stain finish

4 Stainless Steel Per Ft Pre-Assy- 984LF each
3500 Left Return SS Round/SS w/Hardware-12 each
3500 Right Return SS/Round/SS w/Hardware Cap-12 each
900SS Rd Splice 1.5 dia 5 -88 each The Supplier will provide the VA with the rails, spacers, brackets and caps to be installed. The ADA compliant handrails are made of top of the line 304 Stainless Steel with a #4 satin finish, 1.5 round top rail with a 4 tall X 1/4 thick flat plate rail hidden fastener system. The wall guard is 304 Stainless Steel with a #4 satin finish as well, 5.5 tall X 1.5 deep 16-gauge material. It has a flat profile design with hidden fasteners. This will be for around 1300 feet of both. PAYMENT FOR SERVICES:
Invoices will be paid after materials are delivered. The invoice should be mailed to the address provided. SECURITY REQUIREMENTS:
The Contractor s delivery employees shall wear visible identification. It is the responsibility of the Contractor to park in the appropriate designated parking areas.
