THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. This sources sought does not constitute an invitation for Bids, Request for Proposal, nor Request for Quotation, and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a contract or otherwise pay for the information requested.

This Sources Sought supports market research in support of the performance, design, fabrication, and verification requirements for three horizontal axially split, multistage, between bearings pump/driver assemblies. The pumps shall be furnished with one or more stages removed to meet a guaranteed operating condition with the future capability to add the stages to obtain a second operating condition. The furnished pump drivers shall be suitable for operation at stated operating conditions and shall meet or exceed all requirements of API 541. The pump assemblies shall be delivered as a complete assembly, to include the pump, coupling, driver, baseplate, and all related piping systems or hardware, to Arnold Air Force Base, TN.

The Draft specification is provided to allow interested offerors to fully understand the requirement and determine if their firm can meet the specifications for the between bearings pump/driver assemblies.

Arnold Engineering Development Complex (AEDC) at Arnold Air Force Base, TN, operates more than 55 aerodynamic and propulsion wind tunnels, rocket and turbine engine test cells, environmental chambers, arc heaters, ballistic ranges, sled tracks, centrifuges and other specialized units. AEDCs mission is to support National Defense by conducting developmental test and evaluation for the Nation through modeling, simulation, ground and flight test.
