This is a notice of intent that AFSC/PZAAB anticipates issuing a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) requirements-type contract for the repair of multiple NSNs required to support the depot-level maintenance and condemnation of the following F-15 Very High Speed Integrated Circuitry Central Computer "Plus" (VHSIC CC+ or VCC+).





Contract will be a five year contract and shall include a total of five (5) individual ordering periods; each ordering

period shall be open for ordering for a period of one year. A description of the Best Estimated Quantities (BEQs)

and delivery schedule will be included in attachements in the forth coming solicitation.





The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate

with only one source, Lockheed Martin Integrated Systems, CAGE: 03640 , in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, Only

One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The Government does not own the data or the rights to the data needed to contract repair of parts from additional sources. In accordance with FAR 5.207(c)(16)(ii), all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.



The Government does not possess the technical data necessary to support this acquisition. Foreign contractors are advised that foreign participation is not permitted.

Justification:



Supplies or services required are available from only one or a limited number of responsible sources and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. All potential offerors should contact the buyer/PCO identified above for additional information and or to communicate concerns, if any, concerning this acquisition. If your concerns are not satisfied by the contracting officer, the Technical Director of Contracting has been appointed to hear serious concerns that are not resolved through established channels. The purpose of the Technical Director of Contracting is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate serious contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Technical Director of Contracting will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The Technical Director of Contracting does not participate in the evaluation of the proposals in the source selection process.
