DLA Troop Support is issuing this sources sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to support this requirement for the following:

Nomenclature: Visor, Flyer's Helmet, Clear & Neutral

National Stock Numbers: 8475-01-319-8961 (Neutral) and 8475-01-319-8962 (Clear)

The items are to be made in accordance with drawing F148-1205, Visor Assy, Helmet, Lightweight, Combat Edge, Rev G, F148-1205-1 Visor Assy, Clear & F148-1205-2 Visor Assy, Neutral.

The item requires Engineering Source Approval (ESA) by the design control activity in order to maintain the quality of the item. For qualification requirements please contact Jessica Dempsey at jessica.dempsey@us.af.mil

The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 339113.

THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AT THIS TIME. This request for capability information does not constitute a request for proposals; submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary; the government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred.
