Description

The West View Water Authority has entered into a Project Partnership Agreement with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Pittsburgh District, to complete installation of potable water mains within state and county rights-of-way, in Marshall Township, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. More specifically, the work areas are located along Warrendale-Bayne Road (S.R.4052) between Innovation Drive and Wheatland Road, Mingo Road (S.R. 4051) between Neely School Road and Warrendale Bayne Road, and Brush Creek Road (C.R. 1052) between Warrendale Bayne Road and Ericsson Drive.





Major features of work for this contract will include installation of 13,100-linear feet of 16-inch diameter water main by the open trench, and jack and bore methods, pressure and disinfection testing of water mains, traffic control, asphalt base, binder, and wearing courses replacements, and pavement markings. Excavated material not used as backfill material will be disposed of at a

properly permitted facility.



The work shall be completed within 365 Calendar Days after written Notice to Proceed.



Disclosure of Magnitude of Construction: Between $10,000,000 and $25,000,000





The acquisition will be procured as a100% Small Business Set-Aside. The resulting award will be for one (1) Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) Contract. All responsible Bidders are encouraged to participate. The Invitation for Bid (IFB) will be issued on or about 22 November 2022, online through Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE) which posts the opportunity to SAM.gov; therefore,

requests for hardcopies of the solicitation will not be honored.



The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 237110 - Water and Sewer Line and Related Structures Construction.



The Small Business Size Standard for this NAICS Code is $39,500,000.00.



In order to submit a Bid on this project, your company must-
