Description
Amendment W15QKN24R0012 0002 has been posted to PIEE. The U.S. Army Contracting Command - New Jersey (ACC-NJ), Picatinny Arsenal, NJ 07806-5000, on behalf of Project Manager Soldier Lethality (PM SL) is issuing Request for Proposal (RFP) W15QKN-24-R-0012 for Armored Hardware, Turret Systems (AHTS), Platform Integration Kit (PIK)s, and associated spare parts and special tooling to support integration of crew served weapons on vehicle platforms. The Armor Hardware consists of Gunner Protection Panels and Kits (e.g. Objective Gunner Protection Kits (OGPK)) that include mechanical, electrical and electromechanical components such as cable harness assemblies, gunner accessory package (GAP), optics systems, turret drive motors, controllers and transparent armor. The turret system consists of hatch assembly, slew bearing and gear rings for tactical vehicles, interfacing with the OGPK. The PIKs provide the unique mechanical and electrical interfaces to integrate Remote Weapon Systems (RWS) to a variety of Government platforms. The associated spare parts and special tooling will support sustainment of the AHTS and PIKS. The contractor shall provide all necessary labor, material, supplies, services, facilities, and equipment to perform the requirements of the referenced Statement of Work (SOW), Request for Proposal (RFP) and Technical Data Package (TDP). This Solicitation is issued as a 100 percent set aside for Small Business. The Government intends to make up to two (2) awards as the result of the Solicitation. Each of the awarded contract(s), up to two (2), will include five (5) one (1) year ordering periods and will contain priced quantity ranges to cover AHTSs and PIKs requirements. In the event more than one (1) award is made, subsequent delivery orders shall be competed, ensuring Fair Opportunity is given, as prescribed in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) FAR 16.505(b).The proposal is due no later than on the date shown on the Solicitation cover page. See Section L of this Solicitation for additional details regarding proposal submissions. To obtain copies of the TDP marked Distribution D, Distribution C, and export is restricted by the Arms Export Control Act (Title 22, U.S.C., Sec 2751, et seq.) or Export Administration Act of 1979 (Title 50, U.S.C., App 2401, et seq.), as amended. Violations of these export laws are subject to severe criminal penalties. All TDPs are marked with the following warning. This also applies to distribution of the TDPs to all Subcontractors at every level.
