Rathbun Lake Project in Centerville, IA has a need for herbicide application services. The Contractor shall provide herbicide chemicals, application services, and all required supporting services per this contract at the Rathbun Lake Project, Iowa. The Contractor is required to purchase and apply herbicide in accordance with these contract documents for weed control at camping pads; at the rock and aggregate areas associated with the dam; at rock protected areas and aggregate surfaced areas within public use areas, and general areas; miscellaneous spot and complete treatment areas as designated; at designated sewage lagoon cells; and in general, as identified. The Contractor shall be required to use only chemicals and equipment appropriate for the intended purpose in accordance with the manufacturer?s recommendations, in accordance with this contract, and as approved by the Government. The Contractor shall provide marker dye or colorant added to their spray mix to help the government see the areas that have been treated, and to aid in keeping track of the treated vs. untreated areas. The Contractor shall be aware and address the specifics of this contract, the various types of terrain, and the access limitations for the required coverage areas when selecting chemicals and equipment.
