Due Date: Proposals will be opened and read aloud at 2:00 pm on April 23, 2024, at
the office of the Superintendent of Schools. Bids received after 2:00 pm will not be
considered and will be returned unopened.
Pre-Bid Meeting: A mandatory pre-bid conference for General Contractors, to review
project scope and bid requirements, will be held outside at the upper playground located
behind Village Elementary School on Tuesday, April 12, 2024 at 10:00 a.m.
Attendance is required by General Contractors to bid the project.
Requests for additional information must be received by Chris Rynne
(crynne@yorkschools.org) by April 17, 2024. Any and all such interpretations and
supplemental instructions will be in the form of written Addenda to the specifications
which, if issued, will be emailed to all bidders no later than one (1) day prior to the date
fixed for opening of bids. Failure of any bidder to receive any such Addendum or
interpretation shall not relieve any bidder from any obligation under his bid as
submitted. All Addenda so issued shall become part of the contract documents.
The owner reserves the right to waive all formalities and reject any and all proposals or to
accept any proposal. Proposals shall be submitted on the form provided by the architect.
