Description:
Furnish all labor, materials, tools, and equipment necessary to remove old chain link fence, gates, and install new chain link fence with pedestrian and vehicle gates. Installation shall include a new 8-foot-tall black powder-coated metal chain link fence with two (2) 20-foot wide X 8-foot tall double vehicle gates; and five (5) 3-foot wide X 8-foot tall pedestrian gates; length of total fence is approximately 1,580 lineal feet at Fort Ord Dunes State Park located in Monterey County, California, complete and in accordance with the plans and specifications.

Participation in Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise Program (DVBE): The minimum DVBE participation percentage goal is 6%. Failure to fulfill the DVBE requirement will render your bid non-responsive. DVBE Incentive: For evaluation purposes only, an incentive will be given to bidders who exceed the 6% DVBE participation requirements. Refer to the DVBE forms beginning with DPR 479IP.
Small Business Preference and Small Business Subcontractor Participation: A five percent (5%) Small Business Preference will be granted to properly certified small business (a completed STD 811 Form must be submitted with the bid proposal).
Public Works Contract Registration Program (SB 854): No contractor or subcontractor may be listed on a bid proposal (submitted on or after March 1, 2015) unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5 (with limited exceptions from this requirement for bid purposes only under Labor Code section 1771.1(a)]. 2) No contractor or subcontractor may be awarded a contract for public works project (awarded on or after April 1, 2015) unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations.
