Description:

SCOPE OF WORK
Service Provider shall provide the following services to SJSU.
*Provide design and construction services for a new addressable fire emergency voice fire alarm system, with all
new system components and materials.
*Complete a final construction design package for issuance to the Universities 3rd party fire alarm consultant, Office
of Fire life safety (OFS), Office of the State Fire Marshal (OFSM), and the campus deputy building official for a
final construction permit.
*The existing building fire alarm system will remain online and in service during the construction and installation
of the new permitted system.
Once the new fire alarm system has been fully witness tested in the presence of the State Fire Marshal, the old existing fire
alarm system will be removed/demolished in its entirety, returning surfaces to match existing.
