INVITATION FOR BIDS
Public Notice is hereby given that there are on file with the Pueblo County Department of
Engineering and Public Works drawings, specifications and Form of Contract for the:
PUEBLO WEST ASPHALT OVERLAY 2024
The project shall include asphalt milling, processing of the asphalt millings, placement of
said millings to reconstruct the existing base, placement of Hot Mix Asphalt, placement of
tack oil, striping, traffic control within the County’s Right of Way in the areas of the McCulloch/
Industrial intersection and N. Boyero ave.
Sealed Bids will be received at the Office of the Pueblo County Department of Engineering
and Public Works, 33601 United Avenue, Pueblo, Colorado 81001, Attention: Mr. Tanis A.
Manseau, until 2:00 p.m. local time on Wednesday the 24th day of April 2024, at which time
such Bids as are received will be publicly opened and read aloud.
Each bid shall be made on the forms included in the Contract Documents and no Bidder
may withdraw his Bid for a period of sixty (60) days from and after the date set for opening of
Bids. Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond on an approved form in an amount equal
to five percent (5%) of the Bid price made payable to the Board of County Commissioners,
County of Pueblo, State of Colorado. A Performance Bond, Labor and Materials Payment
Bond and Certificates of Insurance (coverage in accordance with the contract documents) will
be required of the successful bidder.

March 2024, or from the Pueblo County Department of Engineering and Public Works, 33601
United Avenue, Pueblo, Colorado 81001, (719) 583-6040.
The County reserves the right to waive informalities or irregularities and to reject any and all Bids.
