INVITATION TO BID
Kent County Levy Court will receive sealed bids from bidders to furnish and deliver one (1) light-weight
self-propelled boom lift work platform. Sealed bids will be received at the Kent County Wastewater
Treatment Facility, 139 Milford Neck Road, Milford, DE 19963, until 2:30 P.M. local time on Thursday
February 15, 2024, EST, at which time bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. The outer envelope
should clearly indicate: “FY2024 Self Propelled Boom Lift, Sealed Bid”.
Bid Documents will be provided electronically and must be obtained from the Kent County Public Works
Procurement Office located in the Kent County Wastewater Treatment Facility at 139 Milford Neck
Road, Milford, DE 19963 by contacting Christina Elliott at 302-335-6000 or by email at:
procurement@kentcountyde.gov. If there are questions on the Bidding Documents, submit questions in
writing to Christina Elliott via email at procurement@kentcountyde.gov by Monday, February 12, 2024,
by 3:00 PM local time via email. Kent County will not be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding
Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Offices mentioned in this
advertisement.
Bids shall be on firm fixed price basis as indicated in the Bid Form
In its sole discretion, Kent County may extend the time and place for opening of bids from that described
in the advertisement, on not less than 2 calendar days’ notice, by issuing and addendum by certified
delivery, facsimile machine or other electronic means to those bidders who obtained copies of the
specifications or descriptions.
A formal pre-bid meeting will not be held.
Kent County Department of Public Works reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive
technicalities.
