NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Lake Wales is accepting sealed bids for:

Liftstation 1,2, &3 Sewer Shed Evaluation

At 10:00 A.M., prevailing time, on Wednesday, March 27, 2024 in the City Commission

Chambers at the Municipal Administration Building, 201 Central Ave. W., Lake Wales,

Florida, bids will be opened and read aloud.

An original, two (2) copies and (1) electronic copy on flash drive of all bids, including

all executed documents and needed attachments, shall be placed in a sealed envelope, with

label from page 2 of this solicitation affixed and delivered prior to the opening deadline,

10:00 A.M., prevailing time on Wednesday, March 27, 2024.

Intent

The City of Lake Wales is seeking a qualified contractor to televise Liftstation 1, 2, & 3

Sewer Shed by Closed Circuit Televising (CCTV) to identified areas of intrusion so that

sliplining may be conducted. The City is seeking qualified contractors to respond to this

Invitation to Bid.

Pre-Bid Meeting and Questions

Non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will take place at 11:00 am on Wednesday, March 13,

2024 at the City of Lake Wales City Hall Commissions Chambers at 201 W. Central

Avenue, Lake Wales, FL 33853. Access to the project site will be available after the prebid

meeting. No project questions will be entertained at this time. All questions must be

placed in writing as outlined in the bid documents. Questions deadline will be on

Wednesday March 20, 2024 at 4:00 pm. The final addendum will be posted Thursday,

March 21, 2024.

Responding to the Invitation to Bid

All persons and firms wishing to submit bids must obtain a complete copy of the Invitation

to Bid and submit all required forms as outlined in the solicitation document with their

response. Bid specifications and related forms can be accessed on the City’s website,
