The City of Gainesville is requesting individual sealed Proposals for furnishing all materials, labor, tools, equipment and appurtenances necessary for the Design and Bidding Services for the Athens Street Corridor Park, Recreational Trail, Lighting, Pedestrian and General Facility Improvements.  The Project will consist of design for park and public infrastructure improvements, stormwater improvements, multiuse recreational trail and sidewalks, lighting, pedestrian crossings and streetscape improvements.

A Mandatory Pre-Proposal Conference will be held for all Proposers on Tuesday, April 16, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. in the Station Conference Room located at 300 Henry Ward Way, Gainesville, Georgia. Please note that this project is being funded with State of Georgia “Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds” that must adhere to a strict deadline and comply with all applicable federal law, regulations, executive orders, policies, procedures and directives including, at a minimum, the Clean Air Act, as amended (42 U.S.C. § 7401, et seq.); Federal Water Pollution Act, as amended (33 U.S.C. § 1251, et seq.); policies related to energy efficiency contained in the state energy conservation plan issued in compliance with Energy Policy and Conservation Act (42 U.S.C. § 6201, et seq.); and Section 6002 of the Solid Waste Disposal Act as amended by the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act. Review of the Buy American, Davis-Bacon, EEO, and DBE requirements is highly encouraged.
