Sealed Bids for the construction of the West Phillipsburg Community Project will be received by the Tift County Board of Commissioners at the Charles A. Kent Administration Building, Room 207, 225 North Tift Avenue, Tifton, GA 31794, until 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, October 26, 2022, local time, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. No bid may be withdrawn after the closing time for receipt of bids for a period of sixty (60) days.

The work to be done shall consist of furnishing all labor, materials and equipment necessary to construct the proposed West Phillipsburg Community Project as shown on the construction drawings. In general, construction consists of the construction of +/- 4,000 linear feet of twenty foot wide urban roadway including curb and gutter, storm drainage pipe and boxes, box culverts, concrete ditch paving, base and asphalt, +/- 4,000 of 8-inch PVC water main replacement with the transfer of existing water services, fire hydrants, etc., the replacement of +/- 1,500 linear feet of 8-inch sanitary sewer replacement, +/- 3,000 linear feet of 18-inch sanitary sewer main replacement with associated transfer of existing sewer services and all associated measures for the complete project as shown in the construction drawings. This work will be awarded in one (1) contract with a 365 consecutive calendar day construction schedule.
