The Forsyth County Board of Commissioners will accept sealed bids until 2:00 p.m., June 8, 2023 for the following:

Providing all materials, equipment, and labor for construction of the proposed widening of McGinnis Ferry Road from Sargent Road to Union Hill Road/Ronald Regan Blvd located on the Fulton County line in southern Forsyth County. The proposed design includes two (2) lanes in each direction with a 20-foot raised median.  The proposed outside shoulder will be a 16-foot urban shoulder on the north side, containing curb and gutter with a 10-foot multi-use path and on the south side will be a 12-foot urban shoulder containing curb and gutter with 5-foot sidewalks.  The project has a total project length of 4.741 miles. The project also includes the installation of drainage structures, storm drainpipes, water lines and appurtenances, asphalt, traffic signals and markings, landscaping, erosion, sedimentation and pollution control measures, and other associated work.

A Pre-bid conference will be held on site May 10, 2023 at 10:00am est. Location: Parking Lot of 5925 Cabot Parkway, Alpharetta, GA, 30005

It is the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure examination of the bid documents and site and to submit any questions / requests for clarification as directed within the Bid Documents.

The envelopes containing the Bids must be sealed, addressed to Board of Commissioners of Forsyth County, GA, delivered to the Forsyth County Procurement Department, 514 West Maple Street, Suite 104, Cumming, GA 30040, and designated as Bid No. 23-017-1514 in the lower left-hand corner. The Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Bidders and the general public are invited to attend the bid opening at 2:30 p.m., Thursday, June 8, 2023, at the Forsyth County Procurement Department, 514 West Maple Street, Suite 104, Cumming, Georgia.
