Pursuant to the State Purchasing Act (Official Code of Georgia Annotated 50-5-50 et seq.), this electronic Request for Proposals (eRFP) is being issued to establish a contract with a qualified supplier who will provide Community Development Consulting to the Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia (the State Entity) as further described in this eRFP.
Purpose of Procurement  Pursuant to the State Purchasing Act (Official Code of Georgia Annotated 50-5-50 et seq.), this electronic Request for Proposals (eRFP) is being issued to establish a contract with a qualified supplier who will provide Community Development Consulting to the Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia and it's 26 institutions (the State Entity) as further described in this eRFP.
The Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia (USG) is seeking proposals from qualified Suppliers to enhance the relationship and collaboration between the local communities of Atlanta Metropolitan State College, East Georgia State College, Georgia Highlands College, and South Georgia State College in an effort to increase enrollment among potential students to contribute to the success of these institutions. For this purpose, Supplier shall facilitate engagement of the local community in community development efforts for the purpose of garnering community support and informing them of the college¿s academic programs and the benefits of obtaining a degree from the USG institution. These outreach and informational efforts shall be comprehensive and inclusive to include all potential stakeholders in the community.
The awarded contract may also be utilized by other USG institutions on an as needed basis.  Additional information on USG institutions is located at https://www.usg.edu/institutions/. See program requirement document for additional details. Currently, there is no contract in place for this service. Contract term will be a (1) one year, with (4) four optional 12 month renewals, with renewals at the sole discretion of the USG.
