Sealed proposals will be received by City of Milledgeville, Georgia at 127 East Hancock Street, Milledgeville, Georgia 31061 until 3:30 p.m. local time, Wednesday, July 26, 2023. The bids will be publicly opened and read at City Hall Executive Chambers, 119 East Hancock Street, Milledgeville, Georgia 31061. No submitted bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids for a period of sixty (60) days.

All Bidders must have a State of Georgia Utility Contractor License and must employ a state “Utility Manager” certificate holder who will have oversight of all the work.

The work to be done consists of furnishing all materials, equipment and labor for the construction of:

For installation of approximately 500 linear feet of 2-inch water line on West Montgomery Street including taps, valves, services, replacement of 450 feet of sidewalk, and appurtenances. Project also includes abandonment of an existing water line on West Montgomery Street from N. Jackson Street to N. Wilkinson Street, Columbia Street, and N. Clarke Street including traffic control, fittings, 4-inch insert valve, and replacement of pavement.
