This is a Notice of Intent to Award a Sole Source contract. Interested firms will be addressed only if they respond with clear and convincing documentation that they are capable of meeting, or exceeding, the requirements provided in the SOW, thereby demonstrating that competition would be advantageous to the Dougherty County School System, would not be cost- or time-prohibitive, and would not hinder the mission objective of the initiative. All responses received within twenty-one (21) business days after the date of publication of this synopsis will be reviewed by the Dougherty County School System.

Total dollar amount of contract: $299,221

Description: There are five parts to this proposal: Program management, data integration, staff PD, coaching for parents/caregivers, and 1:1 coaching for students. The cost for student services is the only part of the proposal that is broken down per pupil. $450/pupil for 6 months of coaching (Class of 2024) and $900/pupil for 12 months of coaching (Class of 2025).

This vendor can provide that support regardless of where our students decide to attend college. The alternative would mean hiring staff to provide this support,
