Sealed bids for construction of the Sewer Improvements FY2022 Community Development Block Grant will be received until Friday October 20, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Monroe City Hall, 215 N Broad Street, Monroe, GA 30655.
This project shall include replacement and/or rehabilitation of existing clay sanitary sewer pipe. Approximately 3,700 LF of 6" VCP is proposed to be pipe burst to 8" diameter HDPE sewer pipe and approximately 700 LF of 6" VCP is proposed to be replaced with 8" diameter sewer main by open cut trenching. Additionally, all sewer laterals will be replaced from the new main to each residence, existing manholes adjacent to sewer main replacement will be rehabilitated, and 4 new manholes will to be installed on existing mains.
