Description
In general, the work involves, but is not limited to: clearing and grubbing, impoundment discharge, excavation, terrace
construction, neutralization of acid water and soil, erosion stabilization, and seeding. The project includes the
approximate quantities of work: 6.4 acres of clearing and grubbing, 79,934 cubic yards of excavation, 2.5 acre-feet of
impoundment discharge, 560 linear feet of tile, 331 linear feet of storm pipe, 175 ton of Class E Revetment, 6.11 acres of
seeding, and miscellaneous appurtenant work normally associated with a coal mine reclamation project. The estimated
cost of construction for this project is: $297,000 to $330,000.
