Description:

The work includes, but is not limited to, shallow potable water supply well drilling including initial pump testing to determine well capacity; furnishing and installing column pipe, electrical cables, pitiless adaptor, and accessories; installing and testing a submersible pump and motor provided by Owner; disinfection; and all other work noted in the contract documents; for proposed Well No. 105, site located as shown in the drawings, south of Aurora Fire Station No. 10, on the southeast corner of Orchard Road and Illinois Avenue, at 2390 W. Illinois Ave., Aurora, IL 60506.

The City of Aurora encourages minority business firms to submit bids and encourages the successful bidder to utilize minority businesses as subcontractors for supplies, equipment, services and construction.

The City of Aurora has a local preference ordinance that would apply to this contract.
