ADVERTISEMENT
NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS:
Sealed bids on the “2024 MATTES DR. & ANDRE ST. RECONSTRUCTION & WATER MAIN; CONTRACT
NO. 03”, will be received in the office of the City Clerk, in the City Hall, 333 West Ellsworth Street,
Midland, Michigan 48640 until 2:00 p.m., December 12, 2023, after which time no further bids will
be received. All bids will be publicly opened and read at this time and place. Bids will be tabulated
and a contract may be awarded at a later City Council meeting.
CONTRACT NO. 03 is for the street reconstruction and water main installation on Mattes Dr. from
Andre St. to Washington St. and on Andre St. from Mattes Dr. to Willard St. Some of the quantities
listed in the Itemized Bid are as follows:

Bit. Pavement
The Proposal, Contract Forms, Plans and Specifications may be examined and obtained at the
Michigan Inter-governmental Trade Network (MITN) Purchasing Group website at www.mitn.info
Registration through the MITN Purchasing Group is required to view and download plans and
specifications. Inquiries related to this project should be directed to the City of Midland Engineering
Department.

A certified check or bid bond for a sum of not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the
Proposal will be required with each bid.
The City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to waive irregularities or defects, and
may accept other than the low bid when deemed in the City’s best interest.
