RUSSELL CAMPUS BUILDING & FIRE PREVENTION COVERED PARKING
NEVADA STATE LABOR COMMISSION PWP NUMBER: CL-2024-157
SCOPE OF WORK: The "Project" of which the "Work" of the Contract is a part titled Russell Campus & Fire
Prevention Covered Parking – Phase 1, 2 and 3 and is located at 4701 W. Russell Rd. Las Vegas NV,
Nevada 89118. The "Work" is described in the Project Drawings and Divisions 01 through 32 of the Project
Manual.
The Work consists of the construction of 3-phased new covered parking area to the existing employee
parking lot.
Construction includes all administrative work as outlined in the Division 01 General Requirements and the
following using materials noted on Drawings and Specifications:
Scope of work to include tree at landscape islands removal, hydro excavating the first 5’ to prevent any
damage to existing utilities. saw cutting, asphalt removal and disposal for new painted metal deck covered
parking structure with cast-in-place concrete caisson footings, light fixtures under new covered parking
structure.
Phase I includes covers over 151 regular parking spaces, 4 accessible parking spaces and 10 motorcycle
spaces, 29,306.00 square feet of area. The cover is design with metal deck, with design criteria to have
solar panels to replace metal deck in the future.
Phase II includes covers over 169 regular parking spaces and 2 accessible parking spaces, 40,894.00
square feet of area. The cover is design with metal deck, with design criteria to have solar panels to replace
meal deck in the future.
Phase III includes covers over 132 regular parking spaces, 30,752.00 square feet of area. The cover is
design with metal deck, with design criteria to have solar panels to replace metal deck in the future.
Work hours: The General Contractor will perform construction activities during the following times: Sunday
through Saturday starting from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm. All dates and times will be outlined in the Project
Schedule as required per Section 01 32 16 – Progress Schedule. Contractor will notify Owner’s
Representative when changes to the submitted working days/hours are deemed necessary.
ESTIMATED COST: $6,642,400.00 - $6,992,000.00.
A Pre-bid Conference will be held on JANUARY 8, 2024 at 9:00 a.m. via WebEx. WebEx information for
this conference is listed under the Activities tab on Nevada Government eMarketplace (NGEM) website. If
your firm is unfamiliar with the County Bid Submittal procedures and would like to obtain training on the
submittal process for this Bid, please contact Geraldine Cruz, Purchasing Analyst, at (702) 455-6277 no
later than THURSDAY, JANUARY 4, 2024, and a training session will be provided immediately following
the pre-bid conference referenced above.
SITE WALK: A site walk has been scheduled on JANUARY 8, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. Meeting place shall be
at 4701 West Russell Road, Las Vegas, Nevada 89118 (Russell Campus).
Bid documents, specifications and drawings will be available on the NGEM System or a thumb drive
(drive) can be picked up at the Clark County Government Center, 500 South Grand Central Parkway,
Purchasing And Contracts Division, 4th Floor, Las Vegas, Nevada 89106 on THURSDAY, DECEMBER
28, 2023. The drive will be provided at no charge. If the drive is to be mailed, there is an additional
non-refundable charge of $5.00. All checks are to be made payable to Clark County Department of
Finance – Purchasing and Contracts Division. Hearing impaired customers may obtain information by

Bids will be accepted electronically on the NGEM website at www.ngemnv.com or manually at the Clark
County Government Center, 500 South Grand Central Parkway, Purchasing and Contracts Division, Fourth
Floor, Las Vegas, Nevada 89106, on or before JANUARY 30, 2024 at 2:15:00 p.m., based on the time
clock at the Clark County Purchasing and Contracts front desk, and will be opened immediately thereafter.
Bidders and other interested parties are invited to attend the Bid opening via WebEx. WebEx information
for the Bid opening is listed under the Event Details tab in NGEM.
