Feasibility Study of the Economic Performance, Environmental Resiliency,
Sustainability and Social Benefits of Solar Projects
The City of Grants Pass is soliciting written qualifications to provide Solar
Feasibility Studies at three sites, Foothill and Merlin Landfills and the Redwood
pump station. The City seeks a qualified consultant to perform a Feasibility Study
of the Economic performance, Environmental Resiliency, Sustainability and Social
Benefits of installation of large solar fields at two inactive landfill sites and one
pump station. Consultant would review the sites and their potential solar
photovoltaic production. A solar irradiance index map will need to be generated
advising on the effects of shading from any obstructions.
The deadline for submittal submission in response to this request for proposals is
Thursday, February 8 no later than 3:00 PM local time. The submittals should be
directed to the following:
