The purpose of this addendum is to provide responses to submitted vendor questions.
The City has received the following questions:
1. Does hazardous material testing need to take place in the report phase or the design phase?
It is mentioned in both and can affect the timing of the report's due date.
2. How many professional cost estimates would you like for this project and at what phases?
City Response:
1. Hazardous materials testing should be performed as part of the building condition
assessment report.
2. The City would like professional cost estimates included in each phase, though the level of
detail of each estimate will evolve as the project matures. There should be a high level, rough
cost estimate included in the assessment report, with estimates being refined and becoming
more detailed along with each design phase. So there would be a total of 4 estimates, one with
the assessment report, then one with the documents for Schematic Design, Design
Development, and Construction Documents.
