The Documents for this RFP are modified and/or supplemented as follows and should be included in
the Contractor’s proposal:
General Information:
• The Bid Due date has not changed from Addendum 2 and is still due on Monday 3/11/24 @ 2:15pm
• Phase 1 Delivery – Installation to be completed by May 24, 2024. (Unchanged)
• Phase 2 Delivery – Installation to be completed by August 15, 2024 (Unchanged)
Requests for Information:
RFI 1 Question – Are substitutions allowed?
Response: Vendor must propose and or submit furniture product
solutions that meet technical specifications noted within the
“Description” column of previously released Addendum 2 BOM.
RFI 2
Question – Will sample product pieces be required within certain rooms for
evaluation?
Response: Yes. Sample product (1 each) will be required within the
following “Typical” rooms.
• Art Room
• Class Room
• Common Area – Open Space
RFI 3 Question – What is the required general liability for the project?
Response: Commercial General Liability Insurance: covering bodily injury and property damage
in a form and with coverage that are satisfactory to the City, including personal and advertising
injury liability, Coverage shall be written on an occurrence basis. A combined single limit of
$1,000,000.00 per occurrence and aggregate is required.
Errors and Omissions Insurance: covering any damages caused by an error, omission or any negligent
acts of contractor, its subcontractors, agents, officers or employees under this Contract. Combined single
limit per occurrence shall not be less than $1,000,000.00. Annual aggregate limit shall not be less than
$1,000,000.00.
Auto Liability Insurance: covering all owned, non-owned, or hired vehicles. A combined single
limit per occurrence of $1,000,000.00 will be obtained.
Workers Compensation and Employers Liability: in compliance with the compensation laws of the State
of Rhode Island. Coverage shall include Employers Liability Insurance with minimum limits of $100,000.00
each accident, $500,000.00 disease or policy limit, $100,000.00 each employee.
