3. Response to Bid RFI’s
Question:
1. Please provide delivery dates of the Schematic Design, Design Development and Construction
Documents.
The Schematic Design will be completed in January 2024, the schedule for the remaining
documents will be reviewed with the awarded firm.
2. Please provide CMR award date of the project.
Anticipated award is February 2024
3. Page 5 of 29 of the RFP, BID TERMS – requires a bid bond. The percentage requirement is blank.
Please provide percentage required for the bid bond.
Bid Bond should be in the amount of 5%
4. During the prebid meeting, it was indicated that this project will be a “Design Build” in lieu of CM
at Risk as indicated in the RFP. Please confirm. If yes, please provide additional insurance and
contract requirements.
The city has the option of converting the delivery method to a design build agreement. The
awarded firm will be provided the design build agreement.
5. Page 20 of 29 of the RFP, States AIA B305 – 1993 Entitled “Contractor’s Qualification Statement”
must be included in the RFP response. AIA B305 – 1993 is an Architects Qualification Statement.
Please confirm this is required. (AIA A305 – 2020 is Contractor’s Qualification Statement).
The AIA A305 is not required
ADDENDUM #03
Construction Management Services for new Mary E. Fogarty PreK-8 School
6. Based on the construction schedule provided in the RFP, the preconstruction duration will be
shortened to meet the existing construction start date. Please clarify if the awarded CM will need
to provide all estimates indicated in the RFP or should we base the pre-con portion of the RFP on
providing (1) DD Estimate and (1) 60% CD Estimate prior to the GMP?
The Preconstruction will be reduced and will require the CM to produce only 2 estimates 1) DD
Estimate and (2) 60% CD Estimate
7. Will this project have a Project Labor Agreement?
The city is conducting a study and the CM should anticipate the project will be completed
utilizing a Project Labor Agreement
8. Please confirm the RFP due date of December 18th.
The bid response is due Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at 2:15pm
9. On page 5 of the RFP, it is mentioned that a bid bond is required, but the specific percentage is
not provided. Could you please advise on the required percentage for the bid bond?

10. As the RFP is the only document received thus far in the procurement process, could you clarify if
any design documents will be issued in an addendum?

11. If there are no plans to release preliminary design documents via an addendum, please provide
the location of the new school to facilitate our team in accurately drafting a site logistics plan.
