PREBID CONFERENCE – In person
A prebid conference will be held as discussed in Section 00 21 13 - INSTRUCTIONS TO
BIDDERS at the following date, and time:

LOCATION: Meadowbrook Golf Course
If a prebid conference is held, the presentation and any questions and answers provided at the prebid conference will be issued as an Addendum to the call for bids. If a prebid conference is not being held, prospective bidders can e-mail questions or comments in accordance with Section 6 of the Instructions to Bidders referenced above to the project manager(s) at the e-mail addresses listed below. Emailed questions will suffice as “questions in writing.” If necessary, Addenda will be issued pursuant to the Instructions to Bidders.
RECEIPT OF BIDS
Sealed bids for the construction of Meadowbrook Golf Course Renovation Project No. 103213 (“Project”) will be received by the City of Fort Worth Purchasing Office until 1:30 P.M. CST, Thursday, September 21, 2023, as further described below:

Bids will be accepted by: US Mail, Courier, FedEx or hand delivery at the address above; Bids will be opened publicly and read aloud at 2:00 PM CST in the City Council Chambers.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF WORK
The major work will consist of the (approximate) following: Demolition, Mass Grading, Drainage, Feature Construction, Cart Path, Water Features, Soil Preparation, Grassing, Tree Planting, and Irrigation.
PREQUALIFICATION
Certain improvements included in this project must be performed by a contractor or designated subcontractor who is pre-qualified by the City at the time of bid opening. The procedures for qualification and pre-qualification are outlined in the Section 3 of 00 21 13 – INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS.
DOCUMENT EXAMINATION AND PROCUREMENTS
The Bidding and Contract Documents may be examined or obtained on-line by visiting the City of Fort Worth’s Purchasing Division website at https://www.fortworthtexas.gov/purchasing/ and clicking on the link to the advertised project folders on the City’s electronic document management and collaboration system site. The Contract Documents may be downloaded, viewed, and printed by interested contractors and/or suppliers.

EXPRESSION OF INTEREST
To ensure potential bidders are kept up to date of any new information pertinent to this project, all interested parties are requested to email Expressions of Interest in this procurement to the City Project Manager and the Design Engineer. The email should include the company’s name, contact person and that individual’s email address and phone number. All Addenda will be distributed directly to those who have expressed an interest in the procurement and will also be posted in the City of Fort Worth’s purchasing website at http://fortworthtexas.gov/purchasing/
CITY'S RIGHT TO ACCEPT OR REJECT BIDS
City reserves the right to waive irregularities and to accept or reject any or all bids.
AWARD
City will award a contract to the Bidder presenting the lowest price, qualifications and competencies considered.
