The Portage County Highway Department (OWNER) is accepting sealed bids for a roadway and bridge construction project along CTH R from Black Oak Drive to Porter Road.  The contract has a completion date October 31, 2023 with all in-stream activities complete by September 15, 2023. Items of work include pavement removal, grading, base course, culvert pipe, storm sewer, watermain, Structure B-49-197, asphaltic concrete pavement, guardrail, pavement marking, traffic control, erosion control and all incidental items necessary to complete the work.   All material and work performed shall be in accordance with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation Standard Specifications and the Project’s Special Provisions. The project is partially funded with WisDOT Local Road Improvement Multi-Modal Local Supplement Funding.
