Bid Synopsis: The Department of Health Services (DHS), is seeking to contract with a vendor to provide Communication Access Real-time Translation (CART). CART Providers will provide the instant translation of the spoken word into English text using a stenotype machine and computer with real-time software. The text produced by the CART service can be displayed on an individual’s computer monitor, projected onto a screen, combined with a video presentation to appear as captions, or otherwise made available using other transmission and display systems. Stream Text and Stream Cast on remote platforms will be used for text transcription. These services will be utilized in Division of Public Health (DPH), Division of Medicaid Services (DMS), and the Office of the Secretary (OS).
