Public Utility Easement
Department of Natural Resources Subject to AS 38.05.850, the Northern Regional Office has authorized issuance of an easement for the following: APPLICANT: GCI Communication Corp GEOGRAPHIC LOCATION:
The applicant has requested that DMLW authorize an easement for the fiber optic cable that is installed adjacent to the Trans-Alaska Pipeline, with some variations, from Pump Station 1 on the North Slope to Valdez. AUTHORIZED ACTIVITIES: The department has authorized issuance of a public utility easement approximately 248 miles long and 15 feet wide for the original FOC, the one permanent relocation on DMLW managed lands, and two 20 foot long sections across the Spine Road to access ADL 422035. DNR-DMLW complies with Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990. Individuals with disabilities who may need auxiliary aids, services or special modifications to comment should contact Alaska Relay at 711 or 800-770-8973 for TTY services.
