On-Call Engineering Services
SPU RFP/Contract# 23-224-S

The City of Seattle Public Utilities (SPU) is requesting proposals from qualified consultants to support and supplement the work of the SPU Capital Improvement Project (CIP) Design Section (CIP Design) in providing engineering services for project delivery and project support across the Drainage and Wastewater Line of Business, Water Line of Business, and Solid Waste Line of Business. The consultant team will assist CIP Design in meeting work demands by supplementing technical skill sets and/or provide capacity for in-house design work.

SPU will procure one or more On-Call Contracts for consultant teams to provide engineering design support primarily for options analysis, design, and construction. The combined total estimated contract amount will be $4.5 million for all work assigned under this contract.

Proposers may submit questions to the procurement portal (Bonfire) under the Vendor Discussions section. The City strongly prefers that consultants submit questions in Bonfire but will accept questions submitted to the Contract Administrator in email format to Sherry Shaffer, sherry.shaffer@seattle.gov . To facilitate preparation of responses to questions, please submit questions by no later than 5:00 PM Pacific Time on February 20, 2024. All responses to questions will be posted at https://cityofseattle.bonfirehub.com/portal under the Public Notices Section in the respective procurement opportunity.
