  • Summary:Old Cox Road Reconstruction
    Scope of Work: Reconstruction of Route 660 (Old Cox Road), which has reached the end of its useful service life. This Invitation For Bid consists of work associated with Phase 1 of the project only. The plans provided cover Phase 1 and a future Phase 2. Phase 1 Scope of Work, for the purposes of this IFB, is hereby defined as all permanent improvements as shown on the plans between Route 92 and Ridge Road, inclusive of ancillary tie-down work north and east of Ridge Road to tie to the existing section of Old Cox Road as described in Section 4.35. Construction consists of pavement demolition, earthwork, and grading to improve horizontal and vertical curvature. Construction will also involve placement of a new roadway section, including aggregate base and asphalt, which will replace the existing surface. This project also includes improvements to overall drainage and safety, including the installation of BMPs, level spreaders, clearing, grading, asphalt paving, drainage items, erosion & sediment control, signage, pavement markings, and other items necessary for the completion of the work.
