  • Summary:Provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, services, transportation, and incidentals necessary for restoration of approximately 257-linear feet of intermittent stream channel located in the Beechwood Farms subdivision in Hanover County Virginia. The goal of the project is to use natural restoration techniques to provide stability and minimize sediment and nutrient contributions to the Chesapeake Bay. Restoration will include the construction of a floodplain bench and series of cascades and pools which will be stabilized with stone. Imbricated rip rap will be used to stabilize the upper end of the cascades. The construction site is to be accessed via the construction entrance located on the 10047 Beechwood Drive property. A temporary construction easement and permanent drainage easements have been acquired allowing full access for construction. It is expected that the Contractor will store all equipment and materials inside the temporary easement and will minimize impact to all residential
    properties. All work shall be as described in the Project Manual and shown on the Contract Drawings.
