  • Summary:        The purpose of this Request for Proposal is to solicit sealed proposals to establish a contract or contracts through competitive negotiation for the provision of after-hours telephone support to the Fairfax County, Virginia community for Adult Protective Services (APS) for the coverage times listed below. During the past year, approximately 45 calls per month for APS support have been received.

    a.        Monday – Thursday from 4:30 p.m. to 8:00a.m.

    b.        Weekends: From Friday, 4:30 p.m. to Monday, 8:00 a.m.

    c.        Holidays: From 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m.

    d.        Other times when DFS is closed, because of weather or technical related. Unscheduled closings. These closings will be communicated to the Contractor as soon as the information is available during business hours. Contractor shall confirm receipt of this information and confirm on call. Coverage within 30 minutes of receiving the closing information from the County.
