ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Sealed proposals will be received by the Division of Public Works, State of Idaho, at 502 N. 4th St., PO
Box 83720, Boise, Idaho 83720-0072 until 2:30 p.m. local time, on Wednesday, March 6, 2024 for
DPW Project 21622 Paint, Warden’s House, Old Pen, Idaho State Historical Society, Boise, Idaho.
A description of the work of this project can be summarized to include Removal of existing lead-based paint &
dispose. Sand & prep wood and steel substrate, prime paint and apply two finish coats. Remove and replace all
caulking.
Proposals will be opened and publicly read at the above hour and date.

There will be a Pre-Bid Conference on Thursday, February 22, 2024, beginning at 9:45 a.m., prevailing
local time, at the Warden’s House, Old Penitentiary, 2445 Old Penitentiary Road, Boise, Idaho.
Bidders are encouraged to attend.
One set of documents may be obtained by licensed general contractors and by painting contractors from
the Architect for a refundable deposit of $100.00. Others may obtain documents at cost, non-refundable.
A bid bond in the amount of 5% of the total bid amount, including any add alternates, is required. A Public
Works Contractor's License for the State of Idaho is required to bid on this work.
