ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Sealed proposals will be received by the Division of Public Works, State of Idaho, at 502 N. 4th St., PO
Box 83720, Boise, Idaho 83720-0072 until 2:00 pm local time, on Tuesday, March 19, 2024 for DPW
Project 21364 (Re-Bid) Upgrade HVAC, Whitehall, SWITC, Department of Health & Welfare, Nampa,
Idaho.
A description of the work of this project can be summarized to include:
Base Bid:
Contractor shall refurbish the existing air handler located on the second floor. Work scope to include all
sections of the air handler and the control dampers of the system. This refurbished system will provide
ventilation and heating to the interior spaces.
Contractor shall install Four (4) new ductless split systems to cool/condition select rooms – Rooms: 170,
179, and 189. The new heat pumps shall be located on the roof.
BID Alternate #1
Contractor shall install Two (2) new ductless split systems to cool/condition select rooms – Rooms: 184
and Hall 198. The new heat pump shall be located on the roof.
Proposals will be opened and publicly read at the above hour and date.

There will be a Pre-Bid Conference on Thursday, March 7, 2024, beginning at 2:30 pm, prevailing local
time, at 1660 11th Ave N, Nampa, ID 83687. Bidders are encouraged to attend.
One set of documents may be obtained by licensed general contractors and by licensed mechanical and
electrical subcontractors from the Engineer for a refundable deposit of $100.00. Others may obtain
documents at cost, non-refundable.
A bid bond in the amount of 5% of the total bid amount, including any add alternates, is required.
A Public Works Contractor's License for the State of Idaho is required to bid on this work.
Estimated Cost: $105,000
