Sealed proposals will be received by the Division of Public Works, State of Idaho, at 502 N. 4th St., PO
Box 83720, Boise, Idaho 83720-0072 until 2:00 p.m. local time, on Tuesday, February 13, 2024 for
DPW Project 21082 New Office & Training Center, TVCR, Department of Correction, Kuna, Idaho.
A description of the work of this project can be summarized to include 2,400 s.f. single story building of type
V-B construction. 60’ x 40’ wood framed, slab on grade, pitched roof wood trusses with asphalt shingles.
Spaces to include training spaces, offices, restrooms, mechanical room and storage. Associated site
improvements.
Proposals will be opened and publicly read at the above hour and date.

There will be a Pre-Bid Conference on Thursday, January 25, 2024, beginning at 10:00 a.m., prevailing
local time, at the 14195 S. Pleasant Valley Road, Kuna, Idaho. Bidders are encouraged to attend.
Please adhere to the following IDOC security measures:
No weapons on the compound at all (not even in vehicles), no cell phones in the facility, no
tobacco products.
Secure unattended vehicles in parking lot.
Tool inventories will be required and will be checked coming in and leaving the premises.
Contractors are challenged to only bring in necessary tools. Any lost tool or piece of a lost tool
(broken blades etc) must be reported to facility security at once.
There will be no contact with offenders. Report to security any contact initiated by an inmate.
One set of documents may be obtained by licensed general contractors and by licensed mechanical and
electrical subcontractors from the Architect for a refundable deposit of $100.00. Others may obtain
documents at cost, non-refundable.
A bid bond in the amount of 5% of the total bid amount, including any add alternates, is required. A Public
Works Contractor's License for the State of Idaho is required to bid on this work.
