COUNTY OF MONMOUTH STATE OF NEW JERSEY NOTICE TO BIDDERS Sealed bids will be received by the Division of Purchasing of the County of Monmouth, New Jersey and opened and read IN PUBLIC IN THE PURCHASING CONFERENCE ROOM, LOCATED ON THE SECOND FLOOR, IN THE SPECIAL SERVICES COMPLEX, 300 HALLS MILL ROAD, FREEHOLD, NJ on TUESDAY, OCTOBER 17, 2017 AT 10:30 AM for the following: PICKUP OF HOT MIX ASPHALT (HMA) FOR THE PAVING OF COUNTY ROUTE 18 (16TH AVENUE) IN THE BOROUGH OF BELMAR, COUNTY ROUTE 53 (GEORGIA ROAD) IN THE TOWNSHIP OF FREEHOLD, COUNTY ROUTE 537 (WEST MAIN STREET) IN THE TOWNSHIP OF FREEHOLD, AND THE HALL OF RECORDS REAR PARKING LOT IN THE BOROUGH OF FREEHOLD, FOR THE PERIOD NOVEMBER 1, 2017 THROUGH MAY 31, 2018 F167-2017 Request for Bid packets must be downloaded on the County website, at www.visitmonmouth.com/ purchasing under "Upcoming RFB's (Request for Bids)". All notices of revisions or addenda to the specifications for bids will be posted on the Division of Purchasing's website, namely www.visitmonmouth.com/purchasing. Notices of revisions or addenda will also be published in an official County newspaper and copies of the addenda will be provided to prospective bidders in writing by certified mail or by certified facsimile transmission or by a delivery service. N.J.S.A. 40A:11-23(c)(1). In addition to the notices, the actual revisions or addenda will also be posted to Purchasing's website. Bids must be made on standard RFB forms in the manner designated and required by the specifications; enclosed in sealed envelopes bearing the name and address of the bidder, designating the name of the bid on the outside, addressed to the Acting Director of Purchasing, Division of Purchasing, County of Monmouth, SPECIAL SERVICES COMPLEX, 300 HALLS MILL ROAD, FREEHOLD, NJ 07728. THIS IS AN OPEN-END SUPPLY CONTRACT. The goods and/or services are on-call if and when needed. The quantities bid are estimates and the County reserves the right to increase quantities, using unit prices, by up to 20% or decrease quantities by 100%. Regardless of the stated term of the contract, the County may terminate the contract whenever the amount incurred under the contract equals or exceeds 100% of the estimated quantity(ies) specified in the RFB. The Contractor will be required to comply with requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:2-1 (Anti-Discrimination in Employment), N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C.17:27 et seq. (Equal Employment Opportunity), 42 U.S.C. section 12101 et seq. (Americans with Disabilities Act), N.J.S.A. 52:32-44 et seq. and (New Jersey Business Registration)..
