TOWNSHIP OF BELLEVILLE NOTICE TO BIDDERS ASPHALT MATERIALS Notice is hereby given that sealed proposals will be received by the Township of Belleville, Essex County, New Jersey, and opened and read in public in the Municipal Court/Council Chambers, Second Floor, 152 Washington Avenue, Belleville, New Jersey, on Friday, October 13, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. prevailing time for the purchase of a one (1) year supply, as needed, of ASPHALT MATERIALS. Proposals must be made on the standard proposal form in a manner designated in the specifications, must be enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the name and address of the bidder and the name of the project on the outside, addressed to the Township of Belleville and must be delivered to the attention of the Township Clerk on or before 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 13, 2017. Contract documents may be obtained at the Township of Belleville's Purchasing Department, 152 Washington Avenue, Belleville, New Jersey, (973)450-3316, fax: (973)759-8070, between the hours of 8:00 A.M. and 4:00 P.M. on all normal business days. Proposals for this Contract will be accepted only from bidders who have properly qualified in accordance with the requirements of the Contract Documents. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities where such informality is not detrimental to the best interest of the Township of Belleville. The right is also reserved to increase or decrease the quantities in the manner designated in the specifications. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27, and the applicable requirements of N.J.S.A. 40A:11-1 et seq., the Local Public Contracts Law.
