IFB FOR CONTECH INSPECTION & MAINTENANCE SERVICES

SMUD is seeking qualified Contractors to provide stormwater Contech inspection and maintenance services. Contractor will perform inspections of detention basins and vaults to determine the need for maintenance and if cartridge replacement or sediment removal is needed. It is mandatory that inspection and maintenance records be kept by Contractor and forwarded to SMUD representatives.

Services are needed by approximately December 1, 2023, and the resulting contract will run for 5 years (2023-2028).

SMUD intends to award one contract to the lowest responsive Bidder as a result of this solicitation.

The Prime Bidder must demonstrate in their bid that they meet the following PASS/FAIL requirement. Failure to meet this requirement will result in SMUD declaring the Bid non-responsive.

A. Contractor must possess a current California Contractor’s License in ALL of the following classes: The General Contractor will have an A license at the time of bid.

B. Provide evidence that the Contractor has been conducting storm water / wastewaste inspection and maintenance services for a minimum of five (5) years.

C. Within the last five years was the Prime Contractor or any proposed Subcontractor been declared ineligible to propose on a public works contract, to be awarded a public works contract, or to perform as a subcontractor on a public works contract, pursuant to either Labor Code section 1777.1 or Labor Code section 1777.7?
