    The North Jersey Transportation Planning Authority, Inc. (NJTPA) is seeking consultant support to assist the Subregions on an as needed basis with the development and evaluation of studies and/or analysis of high crash locations or corridors in support of Local Safety Program applications. These analyses may include (but are not limited to) traffic counts, crash analysis, signal warrant analysis, lighting analysis and conceptual layouts of safety improvements based on recommendations from road safety audits or identified by the Subregions as needed in order to fully develop applications for the program. The NJTPA invites all qualified firms with experience in this area to submit proposals for this project. Federal procurement regulations apply to this contract. If awarded, the successful firm awarded the contract shall be required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27. The NJTPA is a federally funded agency and is subject to 49 CFR 26 and the NJDOT's DBE/ESBE participation program. To be eligible for this program, applicants must be certified as a DBE under NJ UCP or ESBE by NJDOT.
