The North Carolina Department of Transportation is requesting bids for the above-mentioned

Contractors must be pre-qualified with NCDOT as Bidder or PO Prime Contractor prior to

Quotation for Fully-Operated Equipment for Snow and Ice Control (Single-Axle Trucks)
Contract A in Mecklenburg County to be opened Wednesday May 1, 2024, at 2:00 P.M.
To reduce exposure to the COVID-19 virus, the Bid Opening will not be open to the public in the
usual manner. The Letting results will be broadcast via conference call at 2:00 PM on the bid
opening day. You may attend the conference call by dialing 1-888-251-2909 and entering
7653259 as the access code. The results will also be uploaded to the Division 10 letting website
as well.
The North Carolina Department of Transportation, in accordance with the provisions of Title VI
of the Civil Rights of 1964 (78 Stat.252) and the Regulations of the Department of
Transportation (49 C.F.R., Part 21), issued pursuant to such act, hereby notifies all bidders that it
will affirmatively insure that the contract entered into pursuant to this notice will be awarded to
the lowest responsible bidder without discrimination on the grounds of sex, race, color, or
national origin.
