ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Mississippi Lime will receive Mobile Transloading Conveyor bid until 4/24/2024 at 2:00 p.m. local
prevailing time, at Mississippi Lime St Louis 3870. S. Lindbergh Blvd., Suite 200 Attn Brad Lipp. At
which time and place all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.
Bids are advertised as follows
Provide an adequate mobile transloader to handle quicklime products
Special Provisions:
Belt Conveyors with ability to handle product with bulk density of various size of quicklime
products 2” minus.
Attached dust collection system required.
Weigh belt scale monitoring required.
Capable of loading truck to rail.
Capable of loading rail to truck.
Drive over offloading tail with ramps for bottom drop trucks.
Portable via road wheels.
Capability to handle 300 tons per hour.
Weatherproof.
Articulate or 4-wheel steer acceptable.
Pneumatic or hydraulic vibrators and car door opener.
Adjustable belt.
Diesel powered and hydraulic control.
Transportable On 55’ flatbed trailer.

A certified check or bank draft, payable to the order of Mississippi Lime Company, negotiable
U.S. Government bonds (at par value) or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an
acceptable surety in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total Bid shall be submitted with
each Bid.
Attention is called to the fact that no less than the minimum salaries and wages as set forth in the
Contract Documents must be paid on this project, and that the Contractor must ensure that
employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, color,
religion, sex or national origin.
Mississippi Lime Company reserves the right to reject any or all Bids or to waive any informality in
the bidding.
Bids may be held by Mississippi Lime Company for a period not to exceed 45 days from the date of
the opening of Bids for the purpose of reviewing the Bids and investigating the qualifications of
Bidders, prior to awarding of the Contract
