The Iowa Department of Transportation is seeking bids for the following equipment
used in mobile roadway painting operations:
Item 1: Cab/Chassis per attached Specification.
Item 2: Platform Body per attached Specification.
Item 3: Centerline Broom per attached Specification.
All items are tied.
Contract Award
It is the intent of the Iowa DOT to award the contract to the responsible bidder whose
submitted quotation is the most advantageous to the Iowa DOT, cost and other
factors considered. Other factors include, but are not limited to: meeting or
exceeding mandatory requirements, proposed staffing, and meeting required time
schedule
Questions: All questions related to this equipment are to be submitted through the
IONwave Bid system through the cut off period for question submissions.

The engine must be approved for B20 biodiesel blends. The engine manufacturer must provide explicit written support
for the use of B20 biodiesel. Written documentation from the engine manufacturer must be supplied with the bid
response.

Bidders must submit all documentation such as, but not limited to, cut sheets, spec sheets or point of sale material,
that shows the submitted bid response meets and/or exceeds the specifications and requirements. Bidders must
answer whether or not they will comply with each requirement in the specifications. Bid responses must identify any
deviations from the requirements of this RFB or requirements the bidder cannot satisfy. Any deviations from the
specifications and requirements of this RFB or any requirement that the bidder cannot satisfy may disqualify the
bidder. Bidders may make notes directly to the specifications and requirements and attach to their response or
respond in a separate document and attach to their response.
