NOTICE

Scope of Services
The University of Louisville (U of L) is seeking bids from qualified Contractors to complete the demolition and
replacement of approximately 50 feet of concrete covering the utility distribution tunnel and 2 expansion
joints located on the Belknap Campus at the site referenced in the attached drawings with a possible alternate
to include another section of similar length and a third expansion joint. Completion of project to include
bringing site back to current usable paved form as intended. The work to be scheduled must be bid and
completed in agreement with all Specifications included herein to include Contractor Coordination, Concrete
Requirements (Concrete Notes), and Steel Reinforcement Requirements (Reinforcing Steel Notes). The intent
of the University is to award this contract as soon as possible with demolition to be completed during the
University Spring Break March 11‐17, 2019 and final completion June 30, 2019.
