Description:


  1. Mobilization and Demobilization.
  2. Strip existing vegetation located within the entire work area within project limits and add soil, where appropriate, to depression areas.
  3. Subgrade excavation and grading.
  4. Placement of 60 mil Linear High Density Poly Ethylene (HDPE) geomembrane on prepared subgrade layer.
  5. Placement of geosynthetic clay liner (GCL) on top of 60 mil HDPE geomembrane.
  6. Placement of 60 mil HDPE geomembrane on prepared GCL layer.
  7. Install Leachate Collection and Control System (LCRS)
  8. Placement of perforated gravel and piping drain
  9. Placement of gravel sump
  10. Placement of side slope riser piping
  11. Placement of 24-inch thick protective soil layer over LCRS
  12. Construct perimeter roads and access roads with storm drain system and mechanically stabilized earth retaining wall, depending on location.
  13. Grading for surface water drainage control ditches, berm, and other control features as shown on the Drawings.
  14. Placement of leachate collection and transport piping including couplings, elbows, and connections to 5000-gallon double wall tank.
  15. Placement of leachate pump with sled mount.
  16. Placement of 5000-gallon double wall tank.
