Description

SCOPE OF WORK:

This is an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract on an “as needed basis” and contract will be administered by THE BOROUGH’s OPERATIONS DEPARTMENT. They will direct the contractor for work locations according to their priority list. The locations for the work are at various developments within the borough(s).

Prior to commencing work, contractor must be familiar with Greenheck, PennBarry, Dayton, Loren Cook Or similar manufacture’s roof fans.

Vendor shall make best effort to match the fan manufacturer parts with the same manufacturing company (i.e. Greenheck with Greenheck and PennBarry with PennBarry) unless a the fan is being replaced in its entirety.

The work to be done under this Contract consists of repairing and replacing roof fans as listed in the Form of Proposal. It includes but is not limited to the following items: 1. Troubleshooting to determine repairs required for fan. 2. Replace fan parts such as motor, fan wheel, etc. 3. Replace asbestos contaminated fans. 4. Using Borescope to identify the duct blockages or air drop. 5. Duct cleaning if there any blockage or drop of CFM found. 6. Utilities fans maintenance. 7. New motor speed controls installation if any.

Electrical Work 1. Upon arrival at the worksite, check that power is available at the roof fan curb level. The timer/time clock should first be checked to be in the "Power On" position. 2. If power is not available because of defective electric supply circuit (wires in existing conduits, switches, timer control etc.), the Contractor may, at the option of the Authority, be required to repair the supply circuit and be paid for this work at the applicable Unit Price contained in the Form of Proposal. Repair may include one or more of the following: replacement of timer, replacing wires in existing conduit, running new wires in new conduit, providing new panel board, or other items.

A non-mandatory virtual Pre-bid Conference will be held on Wednesday, February 28,2024 @ 10:30 AM, and will be conducted remotely via Microsoft Teams meeting. Although attendance is not mandatory at the Pre-Bid Conference, it is strongly recommended that all interested Bidders attend, and that Bidders thoroughly review bid documents in advance of the meeting.
