This RFEI is a public solicitation to identify new strategies and partners that enable the goal to provide 5% in-city beneficial reuse of dewatered solids produced at the Wastewater Resource Recovery Facilities (WRRFs) of the New York City Department of Environmental Protection (DEP). DEP intends to grow into the next stage of wastewater resource recovery by identifying opportunities to process the solids in wastewater into the next generation of bio-products that will serve to revitalize our environment and advance a local, circular economy for organic material.
